2023: New Year, New Things at Vista Camps!

New year means new things at Vista Camps!

What is new at Vista Camps in 2023? We are so excited to share with everyone are updates to our summer camp. Keep reading to find out more…

Last year we added Hawkins Hideaway, the 8th cabin for Camp Sierra Vista. The girls were so excited to have 14 additional friends attend each term.

This year we are adding a new addition to our dining hall…. two private bathrooms! The bathroom addition will keep campers in the dining hall during meals, instead of having to walk back to their cabins if they need to take care of business.

The north side of the dining hall is getting a new look!

There will be two bathrooms plus storage space for dining hall tables and chairs

We are so excited for the new changes to the dining hall!

But wait, there is more!

Camp Rio Vista is getting something new as well. For the boys, their cabins were built in the 1960s when majority of camps utilized shower houses. To continue with the tradition, we are repurposing a building to add one more shower house!

The Tee Pee is bein repurposed for our fourth shower house on the boy’s side of camp.

This shower House will have 10 individual showers!

The Tee Pee Shower House will belong to the Pioneer Division.

The Pioneer Division is our campers that are ages 6-10.

We are excited for Summer 2023!
