International Campers
Every summer we welcome and enjoy campers from all over the world. We do, however, have some requirements of our international applicants.
- Campers must have a good understanding of the English language. They must be able to communicate with staff and fellow campers. This is for their safety as well as others in camp.
- Enrollment for international campers is limited by age groups and we usually have waiting lists for most age groups each summer. Returning international campers have first option for enrolling for the following summer, and then new applications are accepted and processed once Open Enrollment for new campers begins.
- If an international camper arrives at camp and there are behavioral problems which cannot be reconciled because of a language barrier, we reserve the right to send the camper home at their parents’ expense, if deemed in the best interest of the camp.
We require an application on file in order for an applicant to be placed in a term or on the waiting list. No deposit will be made until we have secured a spot for the child. It is not uncommon for some waitlisted campers to be on the list as late as May, but we work our waitlists constantly and will contact families as soon as their child can be placed.
