Countdown To Family Weekend

Number Five: The great outdoors
During this weekend, your family can step away from the busyness of deadlines, homework, screen time…. and what ever new social media app consumes your day. While it is not mandatory to 100% unplug everything at camp, we strongly encourage you to leave the technology in the cabin and go play outside with the kids! We are blessed to have the prettiest views and best outdoor activities at Vista Camps! (We may be biased about that one). Whether playing the annual family kickball game or dusting off the archery skills… the best place to be at camp is outside!
Number Four: No dishes?!?!
That’s right! Leave the cooking and dish cleaning to us. We will take care of everything all the way to the homemade cinnamon rolls for brunch.
Number Three: Activities
Family Weekend is packed with things to do! The best part about the activities is that you get to choose what you do. The polar bear plunge, archery, giant swing, rock wall climbing, tennis, canoeing, pickle ball…. and more! You can participate in as much as you want (or as little as you want!)
Number Two: Bring the whole family!
Our cabins have 16-20 beds. Don’t just think this weekend is for the parents and kids. Invite the grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends…. everyone can come to camp (with the exception of Fido).
Number One: Quality over quantity
Our weekly schedules are packed full of too many events. If you are like my family, the only time you get to talk as a family is during a commute to the next important thing. The Family Weekend is set up to spend time together as a family. Enjoy the ones you love the most by intentional participating in all of the fun during this weekend!
