Counselor Training is officially underway at Vista Camps! ☀️🏕️

Over the past few days, our staff has been learning, growing, and preparing for an incredible summer in the Texas Hill Country. From waterfront and activity training to leadership development, camper safety, emergency procedures, and team building, these counselors are putting in the work to create a safe, fun, and unforgettable summer camp experience.

We’re making memories, building friendships, and getting ready to welcome campers to the Guadalupe River for another amazing summer of adventure, growth, and camp spirit.

Hey there! I’m Sancho Morriss, and I’m absolutely thrilled to be back in the beautiful Texas Hill Country as the Program Director at Camp Rio Vista! I truly believe in the magic of camp! My time at camp taught me how a supportive atmosphere can shape a young person—boosting self-confidence, building awareness, and creating lifelong friendships through collaboration. At camp, boys can truly thrive. They get to discover what makes them one-of-a-kind, build their character, and feel completely known and loved for who they are! This is what camp is all about!
