What a fantastic first Vista Camps Campers & Friends Party in Austin!

This past Sunday, we had our very first Vista Camps Campers & Friends Party in Austin, and wow—what a day it was! Despite the dreary weather, around 75 campers, families, and friends showed up, proving that nothing can dampen the spirit of the Vista community.

From axe throwing (don’t worry, it’s a plastic 😀) to soccer and football, there was no shortage of fun and friendly competition. For those feeling extra creative, we had an awesome arts & crafts set up where our campers & some parents made bracelets. But more than anything, the best part of the day was seeing our campers reconnect outside of the Vista Bubble. Hearing laughter and catching up on all things camp made it so evident that summer is just around the corner!

We also had the opportunity to welcome new families into the Vista community, and we couldn’t be more excited for them to experience their first summer with us. A huge shoutout to our current Vista families for bringing their friends. Congratualations to the Meyer family who won our drawing for a $300 credit on the 2025 camp fees for bringing their friends with them! Every party we will do a drawing for a $300 credit for families who bring friend with them! This is on top of our already established referral program!

Have we ever told you how amazing our Vista Counselors are? We had a bunch of them show up to visit with our campers and see each other! The best things about camp friendships are that even though we might only see each other for a few weeks a year, when we get back together it’s like we were never apart!

A huge thanks to Rudy’s BBQ Austin for hosting us and keeping everyone fueled with some classic Texas barbecue—it wouldn’t be a Vista event without great food and great company!
