A Very Merry Movie Night

It’s Chirstmas time here in the Vista Bubble! What’s better than a camp movie night? While we wish we could have everyone here for a Christmas movie night, it might be a little chilly. So here is your step-by-step guide to having a very merry Vista movie night..at home!

Step 1: Put on your favortie Christmas pj’s and invite your Vista besties over!

Step 2: Bake some cookies! The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies: Ingredients:

• 3/4c. Brown Sugar
• 3/4c. Granulated Sugar
• 2 Sticks of Butter (softened)
• 1 Egg
• 2 tsp. Vanilla
• 2 1/4c. All-Purpose Flour
• 1 tsp. Salt
• 1/2tsp. Baking Soda
• 1C. Chocolate Chips

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 and line two bakign sheets with parchment paper
2. Mix sugars and butter until light and fluffy
3. Mix in egg and vanilla until fully combined
4. Add in the flour, salt, and baking soda. Mix until dry ingreidents are fully incorpated.
5. Mix in Chocolate Chips! (You can omit the chocolate chips and add extra vanilla if you want more of a sugar cookie!)
6. Shape cookie dough into balls that are about 2 tablespoons and place on cookie sheet about 2 in apart
7. Bake for 9-12 minutes or until the edges are slightly cracked and golden brown.
8. Enjoy!
